Performance is an art form that is presented in a situational and transient manner. This still captures the zeitgeist and is particularly easily accessible for young people, as they live in a world that is greatly influenced by transience. With the increasing digitization of society, they are very familiar with the constant documentation and reproduction of the present moment, and thus also with its diminishing significance seconds, swipes, clicks, and likes later. In ICE ICE BABY, we worked with these factors and used ice as the material to symbolize them, serving as a starting point for the development of our performance.
